Types of Financing Available
  • Acquisition - Finance of the initial purchase of real property without providing funds for improvements.
  • Entitlement - Acquisition or refinance of real property, with a holdback of funds to be used for entitling the property.  Entitlement is an approval by the appropriate municipality for a specific end use (e.g., subdivision, Planned Area Development).
  • Development - Acquisition or refinance of real property, with a holdback of funds to be used for horizontal improvements to the property (e.g., streets, utilities, pad sites).
  • Construction - Acquisition or refinance of real property, with a holdback of funds to be used for vertical improvements to the property (e.g., construction of buildings or houses).
  • Investment - Refinance of real property that is assembled or held for resale without providing funds for improvements.
